specifically developed for RF power amplifier circuit design. It provides a
simple environment for entering and analyzing impedance matching circuitry.
Commercially available programs include a multitude of circuit elements and
provide numerous analytical capabilities. However, MIMP focuses only on
impedance transformations. This is typical of most RF power amplifier
design problems; since, data sheets for RF devices present only large
signal impedances; representing a single combination of frequency, voltage,
